Previous experience included volunteering for The Leeds International Film Festival, and working at the BFI London offices, helping to edit the well known ‘Sight and Sound’ magazine. Now, the journey from short films to a debut feature film is a remarkable leap, showcasing a blend of creative vision and determination for Tracey. An independent writer and director, armed with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Philosophy from the University of Leeds, brings a unique perspective to storytelling. This educational background enriches her narrative, infusing it with philosophical depth and effective communication strategies that resonate with audiences, which also includes training with the BBC Academy. As such a filmmaker, Tracey is poised to make a significant impact on the independent film scene, drawing upon her academic insights and practical experience to craft compelling, thought-provoking cinema.
